Job Description
Responsibilities
- Defining the x402 protocol standard for the internet-native payment protocol
- Building and maintaining x402 related products such as the x402 SDK, Payment MCP, Payment Facilitators, and onchain payment protocols
- Collaborating with open-source contributors to evolve the standard through GitHub discussions, issues, and PR reviews
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in software development with a strong focus on backend development working closely with frontend engineers; crypto experience is a plus
- Strong experience in building scalable and secure software and SDKs
- Proficiency with Golang, Typescript, and Python
- Knowledge of Web3 technologies, stablecoins, smart contracts, and wallets
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AI and emerging AI protocol standards (MCP, A2A)
- Track record of building and maintaining impactful open-source projects
