Job Description
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage security solutions to harden Coinbase’s macOS, Chromebook, and mobile endpoints, focusing on secure configurations, compliance, threat detection, and user experience.
- Perform security reviews on enterprise systems and software that enables user productivity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to integrate endpoint, SaaS, and data security into broader corporate engineering initiatives.
- Mentor and guide engineers on your team to deliver impactful results.
Required Qualifications
- At least 7 years of experience in software engineering and security engineering.
- At least 2 years of experience securing macOS and Chromebook endpoints and common SaaS applications in a large corporate environment.
- You possess a strong understanding of what constitutes high-quality code and effective software engineering processes, promoting an environment that fosters these principles.
- An execution-focused mindset, capable of navigating through ambiguity and delivering results.
- An ability to balance long-term strategic thinking with short-term planning.

Preferred Qualifications
- You have designed, built, scaled and maintained production services and secure paved roads relied upon by 10,000+ users.

- You have worked with Golang, Docker, and AWS or GCP.
