Job Description

Core Skills:

C / C++, Git, Socket programing, Build systems, networking protocols, Linux system calls

Key Responsibilities:

• Write robust and maintainable C/C++ code for embedded systems
• Mentor and guide junior developers and participate in design/code reviews
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, hardware, and product teams
• Contribute to performance tuning, optimization, and troubleshooting
• Create and maintain technical documentation for technical and non-technical audiences

Requirements:

• Deep proficiency in C and C++, with a strong grasp of low-level system concepts
• Good understanding of networking protocols and stacks (TCP/IP, DNS, etc.)
• Experience with git for version control and gerrit for collaboration
• Familiarity with debugging and profiling tools such as gdb, valgrind
• Experience with multi-threading, synchronization, and memory management
• Experience with unit testing frameworks
• Solid understanding of Linux system calls, POSIX threads
• Experience with build systems, cross-compilers, and bash scripting

Good to Have:

• Working experience with gRPC, protobuf using C++
• Experience with build systems/technologies such as CMake, Bitbake
• Experience with custom distros developed using Yocto, RDK
• Knowledge of security best practices in embedded systems
