Job Description

DUTIES: Contribute to a team responsible for maintaining multiple billing and inventory systems for customer billing and provisioning of services; generate use cases for test scenarios; build CI/CD pipelines to deploy software using Concourse; identify, monitor, and resolve issues in production environments using AppDynamics and Kibana; deploy, manage, and support applications in cloud environments, including Pivotal Cloud Foundry; manage data in Oracle database; develop, run, validate, and report automated test scripts using Python; develop and test applications using Java, J2EE, and Spring; modify and query data using NoSQL databases, including Couchbase and MongoDB; support applications under development and customize current applications; assist with the software update process for existing applications, and roll-outs of software releases; analyze, test, and assist with the integration of new applications; document all development activity; research, write, and edit documentation and technical requirements, including software designs, evaluation plans, test results, technical manuals, and formal recommendations and reports; monitor and evaluate competitive applications and products; review literature, patents, and current practices relevant to the solution of assigned projects; collaborate with project stakeholders to identify product and technical requirements; conduct analysis to determine integration needs; and work with the Quality Assurance team to determine if applications fit specification and technical requirements. Position is eligible to work remotely one or more days per week, per company policy.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, and two (2) years of experience generating use cases for test scenarios; building CI/CD pipelines to deploy software using Concourse; identifying, monitoring, and resolving issues in production environments using AppDynamics and Kibana; deploying, managing, and supporting applications in cloud environments, including Pivotal Cloud Foundry; managing data in Oracle database; developing, running, validating, and reporting automated test scripts using Python; of which one (1) year includes developing and testing applications using Java, J2EE, and Spring; and modifying and querying data using NoSQL databases, including Couchbase and MongoDB.
