Job Summary

Exciting opportunity to influence the employee experience by contributing to the strategy and execution of national HR communications across Comcast, NBCUniversal and Spectacor. The Specialist, HR Communications will be responsible for driving efficiency and consistency through our HR Communications function by managing the day to day of existing HR Communications projects, including running our monthly All HR Call and other events, and working closely with teammates and our internal clients to support other HR initiatives throughout the year. This role will report to the Sr. Director, HR Communications. This person will be expected to work with the team across multiple initiatives, contributing to execution excellence among many projects. This will include understanding and utilizing existing templates, applying the HR Communications style and branding elements to projects, working in a CMS (content management system) to post articles and to send email communications, and working in and managing content in a project management system to plan and keep track of work and avoid conflicts. This person will act as a key contributor to the team, integrating knowledge of executional excellence and best practices into the way we work every day. This job is an individual contributor role but may have more of a leadership role on select projects.

  • Develop content (including designed, creative content where applicable) to be shared across HR channels – including newsletter content, digital articles, signage, and impactful PowerPoint presentations
  • Manage and execute the monthly All HR Call – sending invitations, working with IT on set-up, ensuring the presentation is ready and speakers are prepared
  • Track and manage updates to evergreen digital content, working closely with subject matter experts and communications leads across the team
  • Adopt team templates, style guides, and other resource materials
  • Creates design elements, including digital signage and key imagery for campaigns, using existing brand guidelines,
  • Work to understand current HR Communications channels and field communications channels to identify technology, editorial content strategy and/or user design changes that improve how we collaborate and/or how we communicate with end-users
  • Develop collaborative and productive partnerships with HR partners and subject matter experts, employee communicators at Comcast, NBCUniversal and Comcast Spectacor
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
