Job Summary

Responsible for validating product quality by analyzing and testing the quality of the codebase. Makes decisions affecting architecture of the test codebase including which software to use for writing test code. Focuses on writing code that will be executed in an automated and repeatable fashion which will reduce manual testing efforts and increase code quality and consistency. Develops and maintains code that validates front-end, middleware and database systems, using the latest tools and common programming languages. Provides input into various software development lifecycle stages. Partners with software engineers to write efficient automation code using coding standards and best practices. Executes automated code and creates comprehensive execution reports for team. Repairs complex broken automation scripts and performs peer reviews of automation codebase. Has in-depth experience, knowledge and skills in own discipline. Usually determines own work priorities. Acts as resource and mentor for colleagues with less experience.

Required Skills:

• Candidate must be well versed in Java, Selenium, BDD Framework
• Very good experiences in AWS***

Core Responsibilities

• 5+ years of experience with Java programming and Selenium WebDriver implementation
• Proficient in developing and maintaining test automation frameworks using TestNG and JUnit
• Experience writing BDD test cases using Cucumber and Gherkin syntax
• Strong understanding of Maven for dependency management and build automation
• Experience integrating automated tests within CI/CD pipelines
• Expertise in creating page object models and data-driven test frameworks
• Skilled in developing parameterized and cross-browser test scripts
• Experience with Jira for defect tracking and test case management
• Proficient in writing maintainable and reusable Java code following OOP principles
• Experience with Git or similar version control systems for code management
• Experience with Docker containerization for creating isolated, reproducible test environments
• Knowledge of Kubernetes for container orchestration and scaling test infrastructure
• Ability to configure and execute tests in containerized environments
• Ability to develop custom reporting solutions for test execution results
• Experience working with test data management and test environment setup
• Knowledge of debugging tools and performance optimization techniques
• Familiar with RESTful API testing using Java-based libraries
• Experience in Agile development methodologies and sprint-based delivery
• Strong scripting abilities for test automation infrastructure setup
• Experience with test database integration and SQL queries for test validation
• Knowledge of parallel test execution implementation and test suite optimization
