Job Summary

Responsible for assisting and coordinating plans with senior level management around Comcast’s residential connectivity products. This individual will help design, execute and measure public relations programs in support of Xfinity Internet, Xfinity Mobile and Xfinity Home, Comcast’s home security solution. We are looking for a self starter that is organized, detail oriented, and has experience in external communications, including working with press. Ensures operational plans are aligned with business objectives. Contributes to functional strategy development. Has a greater degree of impact on business results and typically manages one or more groups of professional employees.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Support external communications strategy for core connectivity products, ensuring clear, compelling positioning across all audiences.\ Reviews and drafts press materials including fact sheets, news releases, scripts, and more.

  • Help identify, shape, and pitch high-impact stories to national, tech, and trade media.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key reporters, editors, analysts, and industry influencers.

  • Develop integrated communications plans that align product milestones, business priorities, and market moments.

  • Write and edit press releases, blog posts, FAQs, op-eds, briefing documents, and executive messaging.

  • Prepare leaders and subject-matter experts for media interviews, speaking engagements, and press opportunities.

  • Monitor industry trends, competitive news, and policy developments to proactively spot storytelling opportunities.

  • Manage product announcement cycles end-to-end, from message development through launch execution.

  • Partner with product, marketing, legal, and customer experience teams to ensure message consistency and accuracy.

  • Track and report on earned media results, sentiment, and opportunities for optimization.

  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.

  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.

  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
