Drive commercial excellence across the procurement lifecycle by managing vendor contracts, fulfillment of contractual obligations and financial governance. Ensure compliance with Siemens Energy India's procurement principles while enabling cost-effectiveness, risk-management, and value-driven sourcing strategies.

Your new role – challenging and future-oriented:

·       Lead vendor onboarding and qualification aligned with internal governance and compliance standards.

·       -Ensure timely vendor creation and updates in ERP and adherence to master data protocols.

·       -Oversee the process from PR to PO

·       -Evaluate supplier performance and support strategic pooling initiatives.

Goods Receipt & Invoice Control:

·       -Oversee GRN (Goods Receipt Note) validation and ensure accurate invoice processing.

·       -Resolve PO-GRN-invoice mismatches and support timely payment release.

·       -Monitor open purchase orders and payables in coordination with controlling teams.

Contractual & Financial Governance:

·       -Draft, review, and negotiate commercial terms in vendor contracts.

·       -Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies, export control, and customs regulations.

·       -Drive cost optimization through structured contract management and risk mitigation.

Commercial Process Optimization:

·       -Lead initiatives to streamline procurement process and reduce cycle times.

·       -Implement best practices across functions and conduct training sessions to build commercial capability.

·       -Support digitalization efforts.

Documentation & Audit Readiness:

·       -Maintain audit-ready documentation for all procurement related activities.

·       -Ensure adherence to internal controls, regulatory standards, and Siemens Financial Reporting Guidelines (FRG)

·       -Support internal and external audits with timely and accurate documentation.

·       Reporting & Analytics:

·       -Develop dashboards and reports for procurement KPIs using Power BI, Tableau, and SAP Analytics Cloud.

·       -Provide commercial insights to support strategic decision-making and project controlling.

We don’t need superheroes, just super minds:

·       Experience: 5–10 years in commercial procurement or controlling roles, preferably in industrial, energy, or engineering sectors.

·       Technical Tools: SAP (MM, FI), Power BI, MS Excel

·       -Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and stakeholder management.

·       -Proficiency in documentation, compliance, and financial governance.

·       -Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and drive digital transformation.

·       -Strong understanding of accounting standards, financial reporting guidelines, and internal control frameworks. Need to apply Siemens Financial Reporting Guidelines (FRG) and relevant statutory requirements to ensure accurate, compliant, and transparent financial documentation across procurement and commercial activities. Should be capable of interpreting complex accounting scenarios and integrating them into contract structures, cost allocations, and vendor negotiations
