Role Overview

As an Advisory Solutions Engineer, you will be a trusted advisor to our customers, providing technical expertise and guidance on building and deploying streaming applications using Apache Kafka and Confluent’s platform. You will work closely with customers to understand their business requirements, design solutions that meet their needs, and help them overcome technical challenges. You will also collaborate with internal teams, including Engineering, Product, and Support, to ensure customer success.

A Day in the Life

• Start your day by reviewing customer health reports and identifying any potential issues.
• Join a call with a customer to discuss their architecture and provide guidance on optimizing their Kafka deployment.
• Work with an Account Executive to prepare a solution-oriented demo for a prospect.
• Develop a reusable artifact, such as a tool or prototype, to help customers solve a common problem.
• Conduct a training session for internal teams on a new Confluent feature.
• Collaborate with Engineering to troubleshoot a customer issue.
