As a Customer Success Specialist based in Brazil, you will be a trusted advisor to our SMB and long-tail accounts, helping them harness the power of "data in motion." You will own the ultimate success of customers in your territory, ensuring they realize the full value of Confluent’s cloud-native platform while driving renewals and subscription expansion. Operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, you will serve as the intelligent connective tissue between our customers’ business goals and Confluent’s innovative data streaming technology.
A typical day for a Customer Success Specialist at Confluent involves a blend of proactive customer engagement, data analysis, and internal collaboration. You might start your day by reviewing customer health scores and usage metrics in Salesforce and Tableau to identify accounts that require immediate attention. This could involve reaching out to customers who are experiencing challenges with the platform or who are not fully utilizing its capabilities.
You'll spend time conducting regular check-in calls with your portfolio of SMB customers, discussing their business goals and how Confluent can help them achieve those goals. You’ll demonstrate features, provide best practices, and act as a consultant. A significant portion of your day will be dedicated to managing the renewal process. This includes preparing renewal quotes, negotiating contract terms, and working with the Deal Desk and Sales teams to ensure timely execution.
Collaboration is a key aspect of the role. You will work closely with Solutions Engineers to address technical questions and resolve customer issues. You will partner with Sales to identify expansion opportunities and upsell existing customers to higher tiers of service. You'll also act as the voice of the customer, providing feedback to the product development team to help improve Confluent’s offerings.
