As an Enterprise Account Executive focusing on Digital Native & Emerging Markets at Confluent, you will be at the forefront of driving our growth within this dynamic segment. This role is crucial for expanding Confluent's footprint by identifying, developing, and closing strategic deals with leading digital-first companies. You will leverage your deep understanding of the big data, cloud, and streaming landscape to position Confluent as the premier solution for data in motion. Your success will be measured by your ability to exceed quarterly sales targets, build strong customer relationships, and contribute to the overall growth of the Confluent business.
Your day will be a blend of strategic planning, customer engagement, and internal collaboration. You might start by reviewing your sales pipeline, identifying key opportunities, and strategizing on how to advance them. You'll spend time connecting with customers, understanding their needs, and presenting tailored solutions. Internal collaboration is also key, working with Solutions Engineers to demonstrate technical capabilities, Customer Success Managers to ensure customer satisfaction, and Professional Services to deliver exceptional implementation experiences. You’ll also dedicate time to prospecting new leads and nurturing relationships with existing clients to expand Confluent's presence within their organizations.
The West Coast Region, particularly California, is a hotbed for digital native companies and emerging markets. This area is home to a high concentration of tech-savvy businesses that are early adopters of cutting-edge technologies like Confluent. By focusing on this region, you'll be able to tap into a wealth of opportunities and contribute significantly to Confluent's growth. The region's entrepreneurial spirit and concentration of innovative companies make it an ideal location to drive adoption of Confluent's data streaming platform.

Starting as an Enterprise Account Executive, you can progress to Senior Account Executive, Principal Account Executive, and eventually into sales leadership roles such as Regional Sales Manager or Director of Sales. Confluent offers a competitive salary and benefits package designed to attract and retain top talent. The estimated salary range for this role in the West Coast Region is $160,000 to $280,000 per year, depending on experience and performance. In addition to base salary, you'll be eligible for commission based on sales performance. Our benefits package includes comprehensive health insurance (medical, dental, vision), paid time off, a generous parental leave policy, a retirement savings plan with company match, an employee stock purchase program, and various wellness programs.
