About the Role

As a Solutions Engineer at Confluent, you'll be the technical spearhead in the acquisition sales cycle, focusing on securing new customers and accelerating pipeline velocity. You'll partner closely with the sales team, acting as the primary technical advisor and positioning the Confluent platform's capabilities to new prospects.

Your core mission is to achieve the technical win. This involves skillfully identifying a prospect's explicit or implicit business needs and designing a validated technical solution to address them. From captivating prospects with 'Art of the Possible' demonstrations and compelling storytelling to navigating intricate technical challenges and Proofs of Concept (POCs), you'll be instrumental in the successful acquisition and initial deployment of Confluent technology. This role is a critical component of our strategy to expand our global customer base and will report into the Global Scale organization.
