About the Role

As the Team Lead, Global Scale at Confluent, you'll be at the forefront of maximizing customer value across their entire journey. This crucial leadership role covers everything from their initial technical onboarding to ensuring their long-term success and growth with our platform.

You'll lead a dynamic team composed of both Solutions Engineers (SEs) and Customer Success Individuals (CSMs). This position demands a unique blend of technical understanding, operational efficiency, a customer-first approach, and exceptional people leadership skills. Your key responsibilities include nurturing talent, shaping team strategy, driving operational excellence in our service delivery, and most importantly, ensuring our customers consistently achieve their goals using Confluent.

This role is a vital catalyst in realizing Confluent's immense potential within the LATAM market by strategically scaling our technical and customer engagement strategies.

A Day in the Life

Here’s a glimpse into what a typical day might look like:

  • Morning (8:00 AM - 12:00 PM):
  • Start your day by reviewing team performance metrics and identifying any roadblocks.
  • Attend a cross-functional meeting with Sales and Product teams to align on key customer initiatives.
  • Conduct 1:1 coaching sessions with team members to discuss their progress, provide feedback, and address any challenges.
  • Afternoon (12:00 PM - 5:00 PM):
  • Participate in a customer call to understand their needs and provide strategic guidance.
