Role Overview

The Consultant Business Analyst, Data Hub position at Cardinal Health is a pivotal role within our Sonexus technology ecosystem. Data Hub manages the secure exchange of Protected Health Information (PHI) generated during patient journeys, integrating with clients, pharmacies, and third-party vendors via file feeds and APIs. As a proactive, detail-oriented professional, you will establish standards, streamline processes, and enforce consistency across complex data operations. Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will lead initiatives to optimize Data Hub operations:

  • Lead and standardize project estimation processes to drive efficiencies and meet SLAs.
  • Standardize User Story development tailored to Data Hub needs.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation including best practices, checklists, playbooks, and specifications.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective data feed and migration solutions.
  • Communicate complex requirements clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Manage weekly project reports, client request tools, and reporting channels.
  • Write precise User Stories addressing client data needs and project requirements.
  • Analyze upstream and downstream impacts within the Sonexus technology ecosystem.
  • Partner with BA and QA Centers of Excellence for timely, accurate project delivery.
  • Stay abreast of emerging data technologies and methodologies.

Qualifications & Requirements

To succeed, candidates should demonstrate:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years in IT business analysis, ideally in healthcare or pharmacy domains.
  • High proficiency in SQL and cloud environments like Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Strong hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Familiarity with healthcare and pharmacy data sources and metrics is highly desirable.
