Role Overview

As Consultant, MSO Benefits, you'll play a pivotal role in managing benefits for Managed Service Organizations (MSOs) under direct supervision of the Manager, Benefits. This nationwide remote position involves coordinating day-to-day benefits plans, consulting on onboarding strategies, and partnering with HRIT, HRIS, HRBPs, Legal, and vendors. You'll handle communications for new hires and annual enrollment, ensure compliance, support M&A integrations, and serve as the key point of contact for provider groups. Key Responsibilities

  • Support US and MSO health, welfare, and retirement initiatives by reviewing trends, analyzing market dynamics, and advising leadership.
  • Demonstrate expertise in regulatory environments like ERISA, IRS, DOL, SOX, and emerging legislation to maintain compliance.
  • Partner with internal teams to gather and provide critical benefits data during M&A activities and integrations.
  • Manage employee escalations, exceptions, appeals, and resolutions across benefits topics.

Benefit Administration Duties

  • Collaborate with HRIS on plan setups, lead testing for annual enrollment.
  • Oversee open enrollment processes, including plan designs, communications, and education.
  • Process enrollments, changes, terminations; monitor claims and maintain records.

Financial Management

  • Monitor budgets, process invoices, identify cost-savings for participating employers.
  • Prepare financial reports and handle carrier relationships.

Qualifications & Requirements

To succeed, bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; advanced degree a plus.
  • 5+ years in benefits, compensation, finance, HR, or related fields.
  • Minimum 3 years focused on US health, welfare, retirement, and MSO plans; finance/actuary experience advantageous.
