Description

The Controlling Manager will:

Responsible for management Controlling systems and reporting, application of Continental rules and compliance topics.  Provides critical information to support the financial direction of the plant.

  1. Participate in the preparation of Strategies, Plans, Annual Budgets and Monthly Forecasts.
  2. Perform economic evaluations and coordinate the interaction of manufacturing plans in the overall company budget.
  3. Analyze and evaluate the economical aspects of the operational activities related to process and conversion costs, specifically salary and hourly manning levels, MDC related costs, pay for performance programs, service contracts, utility price increases, health care programs, capital investment proposals, tax assessments, and insurance rate changes to improve the overall profitability of the plant.
  4. Propose methods and programs for improving financial results.
  5. Develop, train and support direct reports with a focus on continuous improvement and cross training.
  6. Develop reporting and information systems to permit efficient controlling.
  7. Develop planning, budgeting and accounting systems to ensure accurate evaluation of economic aspects of the company.
  8. Perform other duties as directed by the Plant Controller.
  9. Ensure all procedures, policies and legal requirements are implemented and monitored

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Excellent working knowledge of manufacturing and controlling concepts
  • Five years’ experience in controlling or a Manufacturing environment required.
  • Continental is able to offer visa support for internal candidates.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting
  • Masters degree in related field
