Overview of the role:

We are looking for DevOps who is extremely passionate about front end and backend software testing for our wide range of cloud-based web / mobile B2B & B2C products targeted towards a wide range of industries and applications. He/she will be based in our new ground-breaking innovation hub with an atmosphere of start-up and get an opportunity to work and collaborate with internal and external technology specialist in areas of AI, IOT, VR/AR.  

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with Devops lead and support multiple projects
• Responsible for Devops topics in a project/product  closely with Devops Lead
• Contributes to tools that assist in configuration management, deployment and operation of high availability, high-performance applications
• Using Terraform for Infra as Code deployments
• Creating Jenkins jobs, managing Artifactory/Repo servers.
• AWS build and deployment using required tools
• Automating and orchestrating workloads majorly on AWS
• Application monitoring using tools like Datadog, Sonarqube
• Support internal and external customers on mainly AWS
• Manage Docker and Kubernetes (EKS) operations.
• Helps in capacity planning

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Technical Skills

• Hands on experience in performing Devops on cloud.
• Hands own knowledge of CI/CD Automation using different tools
• Good experience in CI, CT and CD topics along with tools like Git, Jenkins etc
• Experience using AWS.
• Automation experience with at least one configuration / deployment management system such as, Terraform or other such tools
• Prior exprience with Microservice architecture with respect Devops is good
• Experience working at least one of the following languages: Node.js, Python, Java.
• Experience with GitHub Enterprise, Jira and Jenkins.
• Experience with AWS Elastic Beanstalk, Lambda,  API Gateway, S3, SNS, SES, SQS, IAM, VPC, CloudFront, CloudWatch and other similar topics
• Experience in tools like Datadog, Sonarqube, Firebase etc
• Experience in microservice deployment on AWS is a plus
• Knowledge on DevOps methodologies and general best practices.
• SSL/TLS Certificate fundamentals
• Knowledge oftopics like in Server Security, Firewalls Setup, DNS management and Port Blocking is a plus

• Ability to work in a dynamic environment and come up with solutions to meet project needs
• Experience of agile software development methodologies
• Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written)
• Great team player and ability to work in a highly international team
• Willingness to sometimes travel nationally and internationally to various Continental R&D centers and external development partner locations
• Willingness to learn new things
• Experience working in tools like JIRA, Confluence, GIT, Jenkins etc
• Problem-solving and conflict-resolution ability

Experience

• Overall 4+ yrs of experience in IT Industry
• 3+ yrs building and maintaining production systems on AWS using EC2, RDS, S3, ELB, Cloud Formation, VPC etc. and familiarity interacting with the AWS APIs
• 2+ Experience working in Terraform
• 3+ yrs Experience in Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment and monitoring tools like Cloud Watch Monitoring
• 3+ yrs Automation and Deployment tools experience
• 3+ yrs of Web Server configuration and operations IIS, Apache
• 3+ years in using tools like Git, Jenkins,
• 3+ years in AWS
• Devops certification is a plus

Education

• BE in engineering with focus on computer science / software engineering
• MCA with professional experience
• Other relevant education streams with strong tech experiences can be considered
