Description

As a Digital Rights Management (DRM) Engineer (m/f/diverse), you will manage and maintain the Microsoft-based DRM service in Continental, to ensure that the protection mechanism securing the distribution and consumption of digital media in the O365 environment operates at the required standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DRM technologies, external providers management, and a deep understanding of Microsoft Information Protection mechanisms.

Key Responsibilities:

• DRM Service ownership/co-ownership.
• Implementation and management of M365 E5 Information Protection and Governance, including administration and management of the Central Key Management solution (Azure Key Vault Managed HSM).
• Develop and lead implementations of Microsoft Purview Information Protection designs and architecture concepts.
• Troubleshoot and resolve DRM-related issues in close cooperation with the specialists, external partners, and vendors that support the DRM services, ensuring minimal disruption in the service.
• Ensure data lifecycle management and archiving, monitoring, and analysis of encryption protocols and events.
• Manage and maintain the defined Sensitivity Label and Sensitive Information Types (SIT).
• Implement improvements and changes to the MS DRM solution to protect digital content across various platforms and devices.
• Develop and maintain documentation for DRM configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and content protection standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Min. 3 years of experience in Digital Rights Management, content protection, or related roles.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Purview Information Protection technology, including encryption, licensing, and key management.
• Strong knowledge of DRM standards, protection mechanisms, and encryption algorithms.
• Knowledge in the management and administration of Azure Key Vault Managed HSM.
• Knowledge in scripting with PowerShell and Python.
• Relevant certifications in DRM or content protection are a plus.
• Project management and communication skills.
• Very good English language skills (written and spoken), min. B2.
• Working style: reliable, meticulous, analytical, autonomous, with initiative, creative, team-oriented, service-oriented.
