Operational Management

▪Oversee the Tire Evaluation Center in Hefei and its staff by implementing and managing operational, administrative, and talent management activities
▪Ensure that the center's operations, functions and targets align with the policies, strategies, and goals of Continental Tire, Research & Development, and the Functional Group
▪Manage cost centers by monitoring budget, expense allocation, resources, compliance and regular report
▪Talent Management of staff, goal setting and assessment, performance appraisal and focus on the development of employees

Technical Leadership

▪Execute technical development initiatives by demonstrating, guiding, advising, training, and providing feedback to team members
▪Ensure continuous growth, sustainable technical skills and competencies within the group

Strategy

▪Develop, manage and execute strategies for the group in accordance with company policies, rules, guidelines and culture to ensure operational excellence and meet the requirements of stakeholders and / or customers (external)

Quality System

▪Quality representative of EC Hefei
▪Local PoMS representative of EC Hefei
▪GT PoMS Local Sub Process Responsible by implement and ensuring the sub process effectiveness at Local Level
▪GT PoMS Local Approver by ensuring correct and accurate content in PoMS documentation at Local level
▪GT PoMS Author by creating and update the content in PoMS documentation at Local level
▪Coordinate on site visits / audits / witness testing / Interlaboratory checks, define actions to address findings in time and minimize the reoccurrence of non-conformities
▪Ensure Technical compliance to internal and external quality and safety guidelines as per GT PoMS manual

ESH

▪Ensure implementation of ESH measures and maintain controls 
▪Raise awareness and provide information about ESH responsibilities and duties
▪Ensure immediate notification and response, and initiate preventive measures in case of unsafe or polluting hazards
▪Demonstrate exemplary personal behavior in ESH and motivate others

Project of Line Task

▪Lead, steer or participate in the assigned project work or task to implement process or test methods in according to defined process. Ensure that the objective and success criteria of the project or task is achieved on time

Lead and participate all kinds of 5S and TPM(total productive maintenance)activities

Qualifications

• Bachelor or master of Mechanical or related Science or Engineering field                     
• More than 5 years' working experience in technical field, as R&D, technical support, manufacturing or other relevant areas    
• PROMT Project management experience
• Familiarity with quality and tire testing process is recommended
• Strong organizational and structuring skills
• Leadership experience                                  
• Fluent English, open mind, intercultural sensitivity, open for occasional international traveling
