Description

• Analysis and documentation of the production processes in the affected plants trough the ERP system
• Recognizing the interrelationships of production processes in a plant 
• Definition of a uniform process together with the plants as a basis for the specification management of projects/project management
• Elaboration of the specification together with all process participants. This includes internal departments such as production, quality and PI as well as external service providers
• Specification of the hardware required for implementation
• Implementation of the functions within the framework of a defined worldwide standard 
• Testing of the ordered functions in the test system. After a successful test, the functions are released and transferred to the "Live Systems"
• Training of employees or trainers in MES
• Trouble shooting during the introductory phase 
• Contact person in case of problems
• Documentation and implementation of identified improvements in the process as well as in SAP
• Reference to and interest in programming and the topic of digitalization in manufacturing 

Qualifications

Engineering Degree, Mechanical, Mechatronic, Industrial, Informatic or similar

Technical Skills

• Node.js & Express.js (for API development)
• Understanding of REST API design
• Familiarity with SAP DM architecture or other MES architecture
• Knowledge of SAP UI5, if you plan to use the APIs in custom PODs (Production Operator Dashboards)
• Experience with SAP BTP services like Destinations and XSUAA (for authentication)
• Cloud Foundry deployment experience
• SAP DM Service Registry usage

 SAP-Specific Knowledge

• SAP DM architecture and POD customization
• SAP UI5 (optional, for frontend customization)
• SAP Fiori design principles
• SAP ERP PP/MM know-how

 Soft Skills

• Problem-solving and debugging
• Understanding of manufacturing processes
• Ability to work in cross-functional teams (IT + production)
• Fluent communication in English
