We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Regional Specialist IT Interfaces to join our team in Otrokovice, Czechia.

• Member of an international team located across various regions (AMERICA, EMEA, APAC)
• Implementation/integration of machines for big data collection and analysis
• Participation in both small and large projects focused on the digitalization of machinery and their processes (IIoT and Cloud – edge computing technologies, Kubernetes Cluster (K8s))
• Specification and documentation of the required hardware to equip machines so they provide accurate data for manufacturing information systems
• Support in spreading essential know-how across production plants
• Consultant in the area of IT interfaces for Continental plants worldwide
• Project management in the field of IT interfaces
• Collaboration with all involved technical departments
• Travel according to planned projects

Qualifications

• University degree in a technical field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial automation within a manufacturing plant
• Project management skills
• Knowledge of Step7, TwinCAT, and IPC management
• Proficiency in programming languages (C++, C#, and Python)
• Logical and analytical thinking, flexibility, proactive approach, independence
• Willingness to travel (approximately 30% of the time)
• English language proficiency at least at B1 level (the position requires daily communication in English, both spoken and written)
