Description

We are looking for a skilled SAP Financial Accounting (FI) Consultant to design, implement, and support SAP FI solutions that drive financial accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SAP FI configuration, integration with other modules, and a strong understanding of accounting principles and business processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure and customize SAP FI module components including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), and Bank Accounting.
  • Design and document business processes, workflows, and financial reports.
  • Implement and support financial closing, reporting, and reconciliation processes.
  • Provide day-to-day production support and resolve incidents related to SAP FI processes.
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective SAP solutions.
  • Conduct system enhancements, upgrades, and migrations (including S/4HANA conversions).
  • Prepare functional specifications for developments and enhancements.
  • Develop and execute unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) plans.
  • Create and maintain user manuals, training materials, and system documentation.
  • Partner with business stakeholders, finance leaders, and IT teams to ensure SAP solutions align with corporate accounting and reporting standards.
  • Conduct workshops and training sessions

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3–8 years of hands-on experience in SAP FI implementation or support.
  • In-depth knowledge of FI submodules: GL, AP, AR, AA, and Bank Accounting.
  • Understanding of financial closing, taxation, foreign currency revaluation, and intercompany processes.
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance or SAP ECC.
  • Familiarity with integration points between FI and CO, MM, and SD.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, and local statutory requirements.
