Role Overview

The Control & Reporting Accountant position at PepsiCo in Azcapotzalco, Mexico City, plays a critical role in ensuring accurate financial closures for Non-Purchase Orders, invoice processing, and cross-charges. Key Responsibilities

• Assist with period-end close procedures, including journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and HFM uploads to ensure financial statement accuracy.
• Collaborate with PepsiCo divisions on accounting transactions, processing Non-PO invoices, and analyzing WBS projects for Finance Managers.
• Coordinate timely invoice delivery with departments like IT, Accounts Payable, and Intercompanies, while monitoring project status and budgets.
• Participate in preparing periodic, quarterly, and annual reports required by the organization.
• Generate clear communication with Operating Units, Intercompany counterparts, and regional SSC users.
• Maintain internal control procedures, ensure SOX compliance, and support external audit requests.
• Handle ad hoc projects as needed in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications & Requirements

To excel as a Control & Reporting Accountant at PepsiCo, candidates should hold an Accounting degree, with CPA certification preferred. Experience with US GAAP is a strong plus.
