Headquartered in the U.S., PepsiCo operates in more than 200 countries, blending innovation, sustainability, and bold risks to shape a better future. In India, PepsiCo's presence spans manufacturing, distribution, and cutting-edge finance operations, making it a powerhouse for career advancement. As a Control & Reporting Assistant Analyst in Hyderabad, you'll join a dynamic Infrastructure Finance team that's pivotal to our procure-to-pay excellence and financial integrity.

Role Overview

The Control & Reporting Assistant Analyst role at PepsiCo's Hyderabad office is a hybrid position designed for finance professionals passionate about procure-to-pay (P2P) processes, SAP mastery, and compliance. Reporting to the Infrastructure Finance team, you'll ensure seamless vendor management, accurate reporting, and robust internal controls. This role demands precision in handling shopping carts, purchase orders, GRIR, and tax regulations like TDS and GST, while collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders. Ideal for those with 5+ years in finance operations, it's your gateway to impactful work in a company that champions innovation and inclusivity.

Key Responsibilities

In this critical role, you'll drive operational excellence across P2P and finance reporting. Key duties include partnering with business teams to create and maintain SAP shopping carts and purchase requisitions, ensuring adherence to Statements of Authority (SOA) and procurement policies. You'll spearhead vendor management, from onboarding to modifications, and guarantee all spend is backed by approved Purchase Orders (POs). Expect to resolve issues with outsourced service providers (OSPs) for accounts payable (AP) and travel & expense (T&E), monitor SLAs, and post accruals for unaccounted invoices. Additional tasks encompass account analyses, vendor reconciliations, GRIR governance, TDS deductions, GST compliance, SEZ invoice processing, DSPF return filings, monthly balance sheet reconciliations, and periodic internal control testing like TPDD and SOD assessments.

Detailed Day-to-Day Impact

Daily, you'll validate financial data, coordinate with tax teams and consultants, and mitigate risks through proactive governance. Your work directly safeguards PepsiCo's financial accuracy and regulatory compliance in India's dynamic landscape.

Qualifications & Requirements

To thrive, candidates need a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or Accounting, coupled with 5+ years of hands-on experience in P2P processes—spanning shopping carts, requisitions, POs, GRIR, and vendor master data. Expertise in tax compliance is non-negotiable: accurate TDS deductions, GST regulations, SEZ norms, and DSPF filings via coordination with tax teams and external consultants. Success hinges on being highly detail-oriented, with proven stakeholder management, problem-solving, and communication skills to uphold accuracy and integrity in finance operations.

Must-Have Technical Skills

Proficiency in SAP, vendor reconciliation tools, and internal control frameworks like SOD and TPDD is essential for seamless execution.
