The Control & Reporting Assistant Analyst position at PepsiCo in New Cairo, Egypt, is a pivotal role within the Europe Procurement Control team. This full-time opportunity involves managing complex financial reporting, data analysis, and process improvements across EMEA regions. Reporting to senior controllers, you will handle cash flow productivity, derivatives reporting, and supplier payment resolutions. Collect data from contracts management systems and over 500 associates in legacy Europe Procurement and AMESA contacts. Review accuracy, analyze variances, calculate cash flows, and report to EMEA Business Unit Controllers and Corporate FP&A.
Gather data on derivatives and Forex embedded derivatives from procurement contracts. Analyze for MTM calculations using inputs from Procurement Managers, executed hedges, and Corporate Treasury rates. Report to Corporate Embedded Derivatives Centre of Excellence and EMEA Sector Control.
Collect and verify data from Business Units, then report to Corporate Government Affairs for Europe compliance.
Serve as Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for resolving blocked POs, analyzing weekly reports, and guiding teams to prevent supplier payment delays.
Support process improvements and issue resolution initiatives assigned by Europe Procurement Control.
To excel as Control & Reporting Assistant Analyst, candidates need a Bachelor's degree in Economics or Finance, with a focus on Finance, Control, or Accounting. Alternatively, 3-4 years of relevant experience in Finance/Control/Accounting, preferably in a global FMCG company, is required. Excellent English skills (reading, writing, speaking) are essential for cross-regional collaboration. Strong analytical skills, good knowledge of accounting and internal controls, and very good Excel proficiency are non-negotiable. The ability to work across various countries and cultures will set you apart in this dynamic role.
