Key Responsibilities

As a Controls and Automation Engineer, your day-to-day will encompass a blend of hands-on technical work, project leadership, and team development. Core duties include:

• Performing preventative maintenance, programming, troubleshooting, and repairs on PLC systems, automation devices, and electrical equipment.
• Diagnosing complex equipment malfunctions and executing repairs or adjustments per manufacturer specifications.
• Conducting breakdown analysis on electrical failures to prevent future issues.
• Planning, scheduling, and executing projects, including capital installations, with minimal production disruption.
• Managing OT softwares and plant data systems such as ZPI, MARS, Colos, ThinManager, and WonderWare.
• Directing outside contractors, supporting annual operating plans, and assisting in plant initiatives.
• Leading, coaching, and training salaried and hourly teams on automation, electrical, and controls best practices.

Expect flexibility, including off-shift and weekend work to support operations and projects.

Qualifications & Requirements
