Position Summary

ThermoSafe is seeking an enthusiastic and meticulous Coordinator, Scheduler - Safety (Hourly) for our Hillview, KY location. This 1st shift role with 2nd shift overlap requires flexibility for overtime. Earn competitive pay while developing production plans that ensure efficient, safe manufacturing of protective products, strictly adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on forecasts, materials, and capacity, prioritizing safety.
• Monitor progress, adjust for delays or malfunctions with safe workarounds.
• Collaborate with production, warehouse, and procurement on materials and safety risks.
• Maintain inventory records for safe, organized management.
• Identify bottlenecks and propose productivity-safety solutions.
• Generate reports on performance, schedules, and safety incidents.
• Participate in safety meetings and improve policies.
• Ensure compliance with company standards, OSHA, and industry guidelines.
• Communicate plans and safety updates effectively.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's in Supply Chain, Operations, or related field preferred.
• 2-4 years in production planning/scheduling, ideally manufacturing.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety.
• Proficiency in production software and Microsoft Office (Excel).
• Analytical skills, attention to detail, excellent communication.
• Ability to manage priorities in fast-paced settings; flexible hours.
• Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma knowledge a plus.
