Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service to Costco members
- Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately
- Stock shelves and displays with merchandise
- Rotate stock to ensure freshness
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area
- Assist members with finding products and answering questions
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and procedures
- Operate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and meat slicers (depending on position)
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines
- Adhere to company policies and procedures
- Unload trucks and receive shipments
- Verify inventory and report discrepancies
- Process returns and exchanges
- Handle member complaints and resolve issues
- Provide support to other team members
- Operate gas pumps and assist members with fueling their vehicles
- Install tires and perform other automotive services (depending on position)
- Assist with membership sign-ups and renewals
- Prepare and package products for sale
- Monitor product quality and report any issues
- Operate production line equipment
- Maintain accurate records
