Responsibilities
- Garnishing bakery products according to established standards
- Weighing bakery products accurately
- Wrapping bakery products securely and attractively
- Labeling bakery products with correct information (ingredients, date, price)
- Merchandising bakery products in an appealing manner
- Cleaning and sanitizing bakery equipment (ovens, mixers, etc.)
- Cleaning and sanitizing bakery utensils (bowls, spatulas, etc.)
- Cleaning and sanitizing the bakery area (floors, counters, etc.)
- Restocking supplies (wrapping materials, labels, cleaning supplies)
- Restocking ingredients (flour, sugar, etc.)
- Monitoring product quality and freshness
- Removing expired or damaged products from the sales floor
- Assisting with inventory control
- Following all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Operating wrapping machines and labeling equipment
- Working effectively as part of a team
- Communicating with other bakery staff members
- Providing excellent customer service
- Answering customer questions about bakery products
- Assisting customers with their purchases
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area
- Disposing of waste properly
- Following all company policies and procedures
- Adhering to safety regulations
- Assisting with other tasks as needed
