Responsibilities
- Packing member orders into boxes
- Transferring items to a separate cart for cashiers
- Performing cleanup duties in the front-end area
- Retrieving shopping carts from the parking lot
- Restocking merchandise in the front-end area
- Running for items as directed by cashiers or supervisors
- Assisting members with loading their purchases into their vehicles
- Greeting members with a friendly and welcoming attitude
- Answering member questions and providing assistance
- Resolving member complaints or issues
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area
- Following all safety procedures and guidelines
- Operating a cash register or POS system
- Handling cash transactions accurately
- Balancing the cash drawer at the end of the shift
- Processing returns and exchanges
- Scanning merchandise accurately
- Bagging groceries efficiently
- Monitoring checkout lanes to ensure smooth flow
