Responsibilities
- Packing member orders into boxes and bags efficiently and accurately
- Transferring packed items to a separate cart for cashiers
- Retrieving shopping carts from the parking lot and designated areas
- Performing general cleanup duties, including sweeping, mopping, and wiping down surfaces
- Restocking merchandise on shelves and displays
- Running for items as directed by cashiers or supervisors
- Assisting members with loading purchases into their vehicles
- Providing excellent customer service by addressing member inquiries and resolving issues
- Maintaining a clean and organized workspace
- Adhering to all safety procedures and guidelines
- Operating equipment such as carts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently
- Handling cash and operating a cash register as needed
- Processing returns and exchanges
- Assisting with inventory management
- Monitoring stock levels and notifying supervisors when items are low
- Rotating stock to ensure freshness
- Assisting with price checks
- Removing trash and recycling materials
- Following instructions from supervisors and managers
- Collaborating with team members to ensure smooth operations
- Reporting any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors
- Providing support to other departments as needed
- Attending training sessions and meetings
