Responsibilities
- Packing member orders into boxes
- Transferring items to a separate cart for cashiers
- Retrieving shopping carts from parking lot
- Cleaning up spills and debris in the checkout area
- Restocking merchandise on shelves
- Running for items as directed by cashiers or supervisors
- Assisting members with loading purchases into their vehicles
- Providing excellent customer service
- Answering member questions and resolving issues
- Maintaining a clean and organized workspace
- Following all safety procedures
- Operating a hand truck or pallet jack (if trained)
- Assisting with inventory counts
- Rotating stock
- Checking expiration dates
- Removing damaged or expired merchandise
- Following all company policies and procedures
- Attending training sessions
- Working as part of a team
- Communicating effectively with coworkers and supervisors
- Reporting any safety hazards to management
- Being punctual and reliable
- Wearing the proper uniform
- Maintaining a professional appearance
- Performing other duties as assigned
