Responsibilities
- Operate electric stand-up forklifts to move pallets of merchandise.
- Hand-stack product from partial pallets onto full pallets.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and other vehicles.
- Transport goods within the warehouse.
- Ensure accurate and efficient movement of inventory.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures.
- Inspect forklifts for mechanical issues and report any problems.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation.
- Receive and process warehouse stock products.
- Keep records of incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Use RF scanners to track inventory.
- Prepare orders for shipment.
- Wrap pallets with shrink wrap.
- Label and mark merchandise properly.
- Load and unload trucks using forklifts.
- Verify the accuracy of shipments.
- Follow warehouse storage guidelines.
- Handle fragile and hazardous materials with care.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
- Collaborate with other warehouse staff to achieve common goals.
- Maintain a positive attitude and work ethic.
- Report any damages or discrepancies to the supervisor.
- Ensure proper stacking and storage of products.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed.
