Responsibilities
- Monitor gas pumps and ensure proper operation
- Assist members with fueling their vehicles
- Collect payments and make change
- Manage traffic flow in the gas station area
- Clean and maintain the gas station area, including pumps, islands, and surrounding areas
- Manage spills and leaks according to safety procedures
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections of equipment
- Monitor storage tanks and fuel levels
- Respond to potential emergencies and take appropriate action
- Provide excellent customer service and address member inquiries
- Enforce safety regulations and policies
- Keep accurate records of fuel sales and inventory
- Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns to management
- Restock supplies as needed
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems
- Handle cash and credit card transactions
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
- Adhere to Costco Wholesale's code of ethics
- Participate in training programs as required
- Promote a safe and positive work environment
- Follow all company policies and procedures
- Assist with other tasks as assigned by management
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Provide support to other team members
- Resolve customer complaints in a professional manner
