Responsibilities
- Monitoring gas pumps to ensure proper operation
- Controlling traffic flow around the gas station
- Monitoring fuel storage tank levels
- Cleaning up fuel spills promptly and safely
- Assisting customers with fueling their vehicles
- Responding to potential emergencies, such as fires or leaks
- Performing routine maintenance on gas pumps and equipment
- Conducting daily inspections of the gas station premises
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations
- Providing excellent customer service
- Handling cash transactions accurately
- Operating point of sale (POS) systems
- Balancing cash drawers at the end of shifts
- Stocking supplies, such as paper towels and windshield washer fluid
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
- Addressing customer complaints and resolving issues
- Reporting any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to management
- Assisting with inventory management
- Following all company policies and procedures
- Providing assistance to other employees as needed
- Monitoring security cameras and reporting suspicious activity
- Performing minor repairs, such as replacing nozzles or hoses
- Ensuring proper disposal of waste materials
- Conducting regular safety checks
- Participating in safety training programs
