Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required (experience)
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in inventory control or auditing preferred (experience)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (experience)

Responsibilities
- Conduct physical inventory counts of merchandise on the floor, steel, and receiving areas.
- Identify, investigate, and correct inventory discrepancies.
- Compare physical inventory counts to system records.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and patterns.
- Prepare reports on inventory accuracy and discrepancies.
- Work with other departments to resolve inventory issues.
- Implement and maintain inventory control procedures.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Assist with cycle counting and inventory reconciliation.
- Investigate and resolve root causes of inventory errors.
- Recommend improvements to inventory management processes.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory adjustments.
- Operate inventory management software and equipment.
- Train employees on inventory control procedures.
- Monitor inventory levels and identify potential shortages or overages.
- Coordinate with suppliers to resolve inventory issues.
- Participate in physical inventory audits.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of inventory.
- Assist with the development of inventory control policies.
- Monitor and report on key inventory metrics.
- Conduct regular audits of inventory records.
- Prepare documentation for inventory adjustments.
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize inventory levels.
