Responsibilities

  • Conduct hearing evaluations and assessments
  • Take ear impressions for custom hearing aids
  • Program and fit hearing aids according to patient needs
  • Counsel patients on hearing loss and hearing aid options
  • Provide ongoing support and follow-up care to patients
  • Maintain accurate patient records
  • Order and manage inventory of hearing aids and supplies
  • Troubleshoot and repair hearing aids
  • Educate patients on proper hearing aid care and maintenance
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest hearing aid technology
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development
