Responsibilities

  • Assisting members in selecting eyeglasses and frames
  • Providing expert advice on lens options and coatings
  • Taking accurate measurements for eyeglass fitting
  • Adjusting and fitting eyeglasses to ensure proper comfort and vision
  • Dispensing eyeglasses and contact lenses under the supervision of a licensed optometrist
  • Educating patients on proper contact lens care and handling
  • Processing orders for eyeglasses and contact lenses
  • Verifying insurance coverage and submitting claims
  • Maintaining accurate patient records
  • Troubleshooting and resolving patient concerns
  • Performing pre-testing and visual acuity assessments
  • Assisting with inventory management and stock rotation
  • Cleaning and maintaining optical equipment
  • Ensuring a clean and organized work environment
  • Following all safety protocols and procedures
  • Staying up-to-date on industry trends and advancements
  • Providing exceptional customer service at all times
  • Building rapport with patients and fostering long-term relationships
