Responsibilities
- Monitor store premises via CCTV and physical patrols to detect and prevent theft or vandalism
- Observe and report any suspicious activity or potential security hazards
- Respond to alarms and emergencies promptly and effectively
- Conduct internal and external theft investigations
- Interview suspects and witnesses
- Prepare detailed incident reports
- Work with local law enforcement when necessary
- Assist with the apprehension and prosecution of offenders
- Maintain accurate records of all incidents
- Conduct regular security audits and inspections
- Identify and address security vulnerabilities
- Implement and enforce loss prevention policies and procedures
- Provide training to employees on loss prevention best practices
- Monitor inventory levels and investigate discrepancies
- Conduct random bag checks of employees and customers
- Ensure compliance with company safety regulations
- Provide excellent customer service
- Assist customers with locating merchandise
- Resolve customer complaints and issues
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Operate and maintain security equipment
- Report any equipment malfunctions to the appropriate personnel
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions
- Follow all company policies and procedures
- Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure a safe and secure environment
