Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain warehouse floors, including sweeping, mopping, and waxing
- Clean and sanitize restrooms and break rooms
- Empty trash and recycling containers
- Dust and wipe down surfaces
- Clean windows and glass doors
- Maintain cleanliness of employee areas
- Perform minor repairs to equipment and fixtures
- Replace light bulbs and other consumables
- Maintain grounds, including lawn care and landscaping
- Remove snow and ice from walkways and parking areas
- Inspect and maintain fire extinguishers
- Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies
- Order cleaning supplies as needed
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines
- Report any safety hazards or maintenance issues
- Assist with setting up and taking down for events
- Operate cleaning equipment, such as floor scrubbers and carpet cleaners
- Maintain equipment in good working order
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment
- Respond to spills and other emergencies
- Assist with other tasks as assigned by supervisor
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors
- Provide excellent customer service
- Adhere to company policies and procedures
