Responsibilities
- Performing janitorial duties throughout the warehouse
- Maintaining cleanliness of restrooms and break areas
- Cleaning floors, including sweeping, mopping, and waxing
- Emptying trash and recycling receptacles
- Maintaining exterior grounds, including landscaping and snow removal
- Performing minor repairs to equipment and facilities
- Conducting preventative maintenance on equipment
- Troubleshooting equipment malfunctions
- Replacing light bulbs and fixtures
- Painting walls and ceilings
- Maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies
- Ordering cleaning supplies as needed
- Operating cleaning equipment, such as floor scrubbers and power washers
- Inspecting building and grounds for safety hazards
- Reporting any safety hazards to management
- Assisting with setting up for events
- Moving furniture and equipment
- Responding to emergency maintenance requests
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations
- Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities
- Assisting with waste management and recycling programs
- Performing routine inspections of HVAC systems
- Performing minor plumbing repairs
- Assisting with pest control measures
