Responsibilities
- Build and repair fixtures and structures
- Repair plumbing and electrical systems under 24 volts
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs for forklifts
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs for machinery and equipment for both ancillary businesses and warehouse
- Provide janitorial and general maintenance of warehouse and grounds
- Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities
- Order and manage inventory of maintenance supplies
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests
- Collaborate with other departments to address maintenance issues
- Assist with the installation of new equipment
- Participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge
- Operate and maintain maintenance equipment
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist with snow removal and other seasonal maintenance tasks
- Repair and maintain warehouse doors and loading docks
- Repair and maintain conveyor systems
- Repair and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Assist with the maintenance of HVAC systems
- Perform minor repairs to the building's exterior
- Assist with painting and other cosmetic repairs
