Responsibilities
- Build and repair fixtures and structures throughout the warehouse.
- Repair plumbing systems, ensuring proper water flow and drainage.
- Maintain electrical systems under 24 volts, addressing wiring issues and ensuring safety.
- Perform routine maintenance on forklifts, including inspections and repairs.
- Service and repair machinery used in warehouse operations.
- Maintain equipment for ancillary businesses within the Costco facility.
- Provide janitorial services to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Perform general maintenance tasks on the warehouse building and grounds.
- Conduct preventative maintenance to avoid equipment failures.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical problems.
- Weld and fabricate parts as needed for repairs.
- Perform carpentry work, including building shelves and repairing damaged structures.
- Paint surfaces to maintain appearance and protect from the elements.
- Assist with HVAC system maintenance and repairs.
- Maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Use power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
- Follow all safety procedures and regulations.
- Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment.
