Responsibilities
- Build and repair fixtures and structures within the warehouse.
- Repair plumbing systems, including fixing leaks and unclogging drains.
- Repair electrical systems under 24 volts, ensuring safety and functionality.
- Perform routine maintenance on forklifts, including checking fluids and replacing parts.
- Maintain and repair machinery and equipment used in ancillary businesses.
- Conduct general maintenance of warehouse facilities, including painting and drywall repair.
- Provide janitorial services, including cleaning floors, restrooms, and break areas.
- Maintain the grounds surrounding the warehouse, including landscaping and snow removal.
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment to avoid breakdowns.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with equipment and systems.
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and efficient manner.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
- Order and maintain inventory of maintenance supplies.
- Assist with special projects as needed.
- Operate and maintain hand tools and power tools safely.
- Participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate with other maintenance team members to achieve common goals.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment.
- Report any safety hazards or concerns to management.
- Follow established procedures for waste disposal and recycling.
- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
