Responsibilities
- Actively greet members with a friendly and welcoming attitude
- Provide exceptional customer service to all members
- Verify membership cards upon entry
- Maintain accurate entry counts
- Check receipts as members exit the warehouse
- Ensure the accuracy of all transactions
- Address member inquiries and resolve complaints promptly and effectively
- Assist members with locating products and services
- Process membership applications and renewals
- Promote Costco products and services
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Perform and document warehouse safety and security checks
- Report any safety hazards or security concerns to management
- Operate and maintain equipment safely
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures
- Assist with inventory management
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions
- Monitor parking lot activity and assist members as needed
- Provide assistance to other departments as required
- Handle cash and operate point-of-sale (POS) systems
- Process returns and exchanges
- Follow loss prevention procedures
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations
- Respond to emergencies and provide assistance as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
