Responsibilities
- Answering telephone calls and scheduling appointments for the hearing center
- Greeting and assisting customers in a courteous and professional manner
- Ringing up sales and processing payments accurately
- Providing clerical support, such as filing and data entry
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
- Cleaning hearing aids and other equipment
- Assisting customers with hearing aid repairs and adjustments
- Explaining hearing aid features and benefits to customers
- Providing information about hearing loss and hearing protection
- Assisting with inventory management
- Ordering supplies and equipment
- Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions and sales
- Following up with customers after appointments
- Troubleshooting basic hearing aid issues
- Educating customers on proper hearing aid care
- Assisting with marketing and promotional activities
- Staying up-to-date on hearing aid technology and industry trends
- Complying with all company policies and procedures
- Maintaining patient confidentiality
- Ensuring a positive customer experience
- Addressing customer inquiries and resolving complaints
- Working collaboratively with other team members
- Participating in training and development opportunities
- Assisting with the preparation of reports
