Responsibilities
- Answering telephone calls and scheduling appointments for the hearing center
- Ringing up sales transactions and processing payments accurately
- Providing clerical support to the hearing aid specialists
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area
- Providing prompt and courteous customer service to all patients
- Verifying insurance coverage and processing claims
- Assisting customers with hearing aid repairs and maintenance
- Educating customers on hearing aid use and care
- Ordering and stocking hearing aid supplies
- Managing inventory levels and tracking sales data
- Preparing daily sales reports
- Handling customer inquiries and resolving complaints
- Maintaining patient records in accordance with HIPAA regulations
- Following up with patients to ensure satisfaction with their hearing aids
- Assisting with marketing and promotional activities
- Attending training sessions and workshops to stay updated on new products and technologies
- Performing basic troubleshooting of hearing aids
- Assisting with hearing screenings and demonstrations
- Greeting and welcoming patients to the hearing center
- Explaining pricing and financing options to customers
- Assisting with the fitting and dispensing of hearing aids under the supervision of a licensed professional
- Conducting routine maintenance on hearing aid equipment
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
- Staying up-to-date on industry trends and best practices
- Adhering to all company policies and procedures
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations
- Providing support to the hearing aid specialists in all aspects of patient care
