Responsibilities
- Answering telephone calls and providing information to customers
- Scheduling appointments for the hearing center
- Ringing up sales using a point-of-sale (POS) system
- Providing clerical support to the hearing center staff
- Cleaning and maintaining the hearing center area
- Providing prompt and courteous customer service
- Greeting and assisting customers as they enter the hearing center
- Assisting customers with product selection
- Explaining product features and benefits to customers
- Processing payments and handling cash
- Maintaining accurate records of sales and appointments
- Ordering and stocking supplies
- Performing basic troubleshooting on hearing aids
- Referring customers to audiologists or other healthcare professionals as needed
- Following all company policies and procedures
- Ensuring the hearing center is clean and organized at all times
- Providing support to the hearing center staff as needed
- Attending training sessions and meetings as required
- Staying up-to-date on the latest hearing aid technology
- Adhering to all safety regulations
- Responding to customer inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner
