Responsibilities

  • Answering telephone calls and scheduling appointments for the hearing center
  • Ringing up sales transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Providing clerical support to the hearing center staff
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work area
  • Providing prompt and courteous customer service to all members and guests
  • Assisting customers with hearing aid selection and fitting (under supervision)
  • Troubleshooting basic hearing aid issues
  • Educating customers on proper hearing aid care and maintenance
  • Processing insurance claims and paperwork
  • Managing inventory and ordering supplies
  • Handling customer complaints and resolving issues effectively
  • Following up with customers to ensure satisfaction
  • Staying up-to-date on the latest hearing aid technology and products
  • Attending training sessions and workshops to improve skills and knowledge
  • Complying with all company policies and procedures
  • Maintaining confidentiality of customer information
  • Assisting with marketing and promotional events
  • Supporting the hearing center team in achieving sales goals
  • Preparing daily sales reports and reconciliation
  • Managing the waiting list and ensuring timely service
  • Conducting hearing screenings (if certified)
  • Performing minor repairs on hearing aids (if trained)
  • Educating customers on financing options
  • Contacting customers to remind them of appointments
  • Assisting with the setup and takedown of the hearing center
