Responsibilities

  • Answering telephone and scheduling appointments for the hearing center
  • Ringing sales transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Providing general clerical support to the hearing center team
  • Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the hearing center
  • Providing prompt and courteous customer service to all patients and visitors
  • Assisting customers with hearing aid selection and fitting (under supervision)
  • Performing basic hearing aid maintenance and repairs (under supervision)
  • Ordering and stocking hearing aid supplies and accessories
  • Managing inventory levels and tracking sales data
  • Handling customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner
  • Processing insurance claims and paperwork
  • Maintaining patient records and confidentiality
  • Operating and troubleshooting hearing testing equipment (under supervision)
  • Educating patients on proper hearing aid care and usage
  • Following all safety and infection control procedures
  • Participating in team meetings and training sessions
  • Assisting with marketing and promotional events
  • Keeping up-to-date on new hearing aid technology and products
  • Providing support to the audiologist or hearing aid specialist
  • Greeting patients upon arrival and escorting them to the exam room
